Ghana’s ‘Economic Messiah’, Bawumia Turns 57 Years, Social Media Reacts

Today Marks the 57th birthday of Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.

The nation’s ‘Adam Smith’ as he is normally referred to was born on Otober 7, 1963 and still looks young and fresh even at 57.

A number of Ghanaians have taken to social media to wish him well.

In a post shared to celebrate the vice president, the minister of information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah thanked God for his life and how blessed the nation is to have him.

Abdul-Jalil Kangre Mahama wished him well.

“Happy Birthday to the indefatigable Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the economic Messiah of our time”.

Meanwhile, Bawumia has expressed his profound appreciation to members of his press corps for their thoughtfulness. Ahead of his birthday, he received a portrait from the group. In a report filed by peacefmonline.com Dr Bawumia said,

“This is the mosttouchy gift I have received on my birthday, it’s beautiful, it’s fantastic, I will keep it in my office”.
