Four individuals have been severely injured after a sprinter bus ran into a phone shop at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

This comes a day prior to the memorial day of the June 3 fire disaster that occurred just a few meters away from today’s scene.

The Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GN 4719-13 was on its way to Cape Coast but made a wrong turn and joined the Nsawam highway, UTV’s Jacob Ahuofe narrated.

Whiles attempting to make an illegal U-turn, the bus ran into a phone shop where hawkers were taking shelter from the rain. Eyewitnesses say the driver negotiated the curve at top speed.

The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
