The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has arrested two teenagers for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy for money rituals at Lamptey Mills in Kasoa, Central Region.
According to gh, the suspects, Felix Nyarko, 18, and Nicholas Kini, 19, lured the 10-year-old boy, only identified as Ishmael, into an unfinished building and killed him instantly with an object.
Though the police have yet to confirm details about the incident, there are claims that the suspects were asked to bring human parts for rituals by a fetish priest in the Volta Region, which led to the murder.
Hajia Maame, the deceased’s mother, told Citi News that she was completely shocked by his son’s murder. The two suspects are cooperating with investigators. Meanwhile, the Kasoa Divisional Police Command has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident and arrests.
