Ghanaian preacher Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Kumchacha, has said marriage should be contractual and a law should be enacted in Ghana that will ensure that men who rape women or engage in incest are castrated.
In his view, it smacks of foolishness to engage in practices such as incest.
Prophet Kumchaha was speaking on the Bribi Gye Gye Wo show on Onua TV with host Mona Gucci Thursday, June 2 while contributing to a discussion on the reports indicating that late Sister Osinachi’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging after he was found guilty of murdering his wife.
He indicated that marriage should be contractual to enable people walk out when they feel threatened.
“If I had the opportunity, I would plead with God to make marriage contractual. It should be limited to a five-year term subject to renewal.”
Regarding the issue of rape and incest, he said:
“It is foolishness to engage in incest. What at all will make one engage in incest, having sex with your own child. We need a law that will say we should castrate men who sleep with their own children.”
