A middle-aged man has died in Luani , Makueni after an altercation inside a beer den turned tragic.
Witnesses say the unidentified man was drinking with several other people when he was attacked by the brewer with a machete.
Although the genesis of the nasty argument is still not clear, the suspect who is at large reportedly cut off the deceased’s private parts.
Two other men are also nursing serious injuries from the scuffle with Jane Thiga, the Assistant County commissioner saying the suspect has also been peddling bhang.
Luani was on the news earlier in the year after primary school kids gobbled down litres of illicit brew which they had found hidden in a thicket.
