Lady Who Could Not Afford Her University Fees Starts 2 Successful Companies

Lady who could not afford her university fees starts 2 successful companies.

Nokukhanya Mncube is the proud owner of her own businesses, which focus on facilitating and increasing black empowerment in communities.

However, her road to success was far from easy and Mncube had to overcome numerous struggles to start her own company.

The stunning Nokukhanya Mncube is currently the founder of two successful businesses.

The Joburg-born beauty was raised by her parents. She revealed her mom worked as a helper at a farm in Brits and her dad worked as a security guard at a supermarket.

Like Mncube, her parents also managed to work themselves up. Her dad is now a businessman and her mom a teacher.

Lack of funds for school.

She credited them for inspiring her to reach greatness. Mncube revealed in 2014, she matriculated but her dreams of furthering her education were shattered because of a lack of funds.

A year after completing matric, Mncube started working as a babysitter while also doing a couple odd jobs on the side.

In 2018 she registered her own company.

In 2016, she started working at a supermarket as a deli assistant. After three years, Mncube decided to take matters into her own hands. In 2018, while she worked at the supermatker, Mncube registered her own subsidiary company.

Now, in 2020, she is the head of two companies that she founded while working a normal job. She said:

What inspired me to start this business was to inspire and empower the youth into believing that no matter what and where you come from it shouldn’t hinder you from accomplishing what you want to accomplish. The main reason for me starting my own business was to create job opportunities for the youth and as well as to help the youth strengthen their skills and acquire more skills. I also started it so that I could give back to the community in so many ways possible and help those who are in orphanages.

In the two years her business has been up and running, Mncube has also managed to help many people.

She has organised luncheons aimed at empowering women, raised money to purchase sanitary pads for girls and they started a feeding scheme in 2019 that benefits the homeless.

Mncube encouraged other young women to follow their dreams, adding:

As a young female entrepreneur I’d like to advise other entrepreneurs is, start a business at a young age because then you will have enough time to make mistakes and learn from them. If you want to start a business and become successful with it you need to be able to solve meaningful problems. Make sure you build a strong team that will help you build your empire and make it successful. Becoming successful in business is more about your mentality, psychology and determination.

This is very inspiring!
