A recent poll by Infotrak Research and Consulting says that almost seven in every 10 Kenyans think that the government should enforce a complete lockdown.
The survey, released on Sunday, shows that 75 percent of Kenyans are worried about the coronavirus situation.
The poll also shows that 68% of those interviewed want the government to enforce a complete lockdown for two weeks.
Interestingly, the survey also noted that 35% of Kenyans are not prepared at all should a complete lockdown come into effect.
Any Kenyan who was interviewed or knows anyone interviewed by this fake opinion poll?De truth-Kenya cant afford a lock down until we can provide for the over 60% of its population who cant even afford one descent meal a day?Good strategy to make us believe in a lie #LockDownKenya pic.twitter.com/QGq8fTQZ5D

In East Africa, Rwanda and Uganda are the only countries that have enforced countrywide lockdowns.
