Wendy Shay Threatens To Sue Netflix Movie Producers For Using Her Song Illegally

Wendy Shay, a Ghanaian musician, has threatened to sue the makers of “Slay,” a Netflix film starring Kalybos and Bismark The Joke, for using her song without permission.

Wendy Shay, who posted a snippet from the film on her Instagram profile, regretted that she had no idea her album, “Just About You,” had been included.

Her management was also not informed prior to the song’s use. In short, Wendy alleged that the song was used without her permission.

Slay, a South African film, is about a group of tech-savvy people who strive to balance intimate first experiences, first impressions, and romantic opportunities.

Wendy Shay reminded the film’s makers that using intellectual property without permission is a felony.

She warned the producers that if they did not do the right thing, she would take them to court.
