According to the US Embassy in Ghana, the “You Only Live Once” YOLO television series was funded by them.
The Series addresses important issues that young Ghanaians are concerned about, such as sexual reproductive health and economic independence.
The funding was provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the National Population Council (NPC), and the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
“I know the pandemic has been particularly difficult for you. Yet you’ve persevered and learned to adapt. Keep making smart choices, choosing the right relationships, showing respect and integrity both offline and online, and believing in yourself and your future,” the US Ambassador to Ghana revealed.
