Tanasha broke curfew laws to go party and people were not impressed.
Tanasha Donna was filmed partying with Blend manager Tim Matiba on Good Friday. She posted a video of her driving late at night hours after the 7pm government mandated curfew.
Later that evening she featured in an Facebook and Instagram Live performance at Matiba’s birthday party.
From the video footage Tanasha and the party posse flounted the Public Health (COVID-19 Restriction of Movement of Persons and Related Measures) Rules 2020.
If found guilty, it will cost her Sh20,000 or six months of her freedom for not wearing a mask in public.
Also, when in public, Tanasha was supposed to maintain a distance of one metre between herself and others.
In Gazette notice dated April 6th 2020, CS Mutahi Kagwe stated the following:
A PERSON WHO COMMITS AN OFFENCE UNDER THESE RULES SHALL, ON CONVICTION, BE LIABLE TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING TWENTY THOUSAND SHILLINGS OR TO IMPRISONMENT FOR A PERIOD NOT EXCEEDING SIX MONTHS OR BOTH,” HEALTH CS MUTAHI KAGWE SAYS IN A GAZETTE NOTICE DATED APRIL 6.
