Ghanaian Afro-pop and Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla has revealed his intention to change his stage name.
The artiste who feels he has outgrown the ‘Stonebwoy’ brand is opting for his recently discovered nickname “1GAD.”
It would be noted that the artiste has changed the usernames of his social media profiles to “1GAD.”
Seeking the opinion of his fans, Stonebwoy put up a poll on his Twitter timeline to ask whether it is worth it.
“Now that boys are turning into men… is it advisable to Just Switch it up To 1GAD?? Or keep it as The aka? #AnlogaJunction, the poll read.
Out of 1,262 votes, 68 per cent of the voters gave Stonebwoy the nod to change his stage name whiles the remaining voters disagreed.
