It looks like Stivo Simple Boy is not the only one afraid of settling down.
In an interview with MC Jessy, the Kibera based singer revealed he is not planning on getting married in the next 2-3 years.
Instead, he plans to settle down and start a family 5 years from now.
“I would like to start a family in the next five years and get a Simple Baby. My ideal wife should be respectful, God-fearing and well mannered,” said Stivo.
The musician further urged interested women to be patient as he is not ready for marriage at the moment.
“Everything has its own time, and currently, I want to build a house for my parents in Oyugis. I do not want to rush into marriage, yet I am not ready. I have not fulfilled my dream, and when the time is right, I will pick a woman to marry,” he said.
According to Stivo, he relocated from Oyugis to Kibera for his KCSE exams but could not continue with school due to lack of fees.
“After finishing Class Eight, I did not have the money to proceed to high school. I worked as a construction worker and security guard to make ends meet,” the singer said.
A lastborn in a family of seven children, Stivo revealed that he has a sibling doing spoken word poetry and a pastor.
