That Kenyan TV girls are a scandalous lot is not a murmured conversation anymore.
From their dalliances with moneyed politicians, overblown lifestyles, and according to Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdulahi, most aren’t the sharpest tools in the box either.
The general public has often felt that the female Swahili anchors were more disciplined and grounded than their English counterparts.
Be that as it may, be, a few like Citizen TV’s Yvonne Okwara and KTN’s Sofia Wanuna have often won the admiration of many given their sagacity, intellectual wherewithal and depth on an array of topics often exuded during their high profile interviews or submissions.
It is why many were elated and felt it was deserved when Standard Media promoted Wanuna following the exit of Peter Opondo who was Standard Media Group’s Strategy and Content Editor.
