Madam Elsie Avemegah, the mother of multiple award-winning dancehall artist Shatta Wale, has said that she hasn’t seen her son in over three years.
Shatta Mama, responding to a question regarding the last time she saw Shatta Wale in an exclusive interview on ‘Ay3 Hu,’ a social debate show hosted by ace broadcaster Nana Ampofo on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, surprisingly stated:
“Shatta Wale does not come to see me…”
Shatta Mama remarked to Nana Ampofo,
“It’s been approximately three years since I first saw Shatta Wale.”
Shatta Mama gravely stated, “I have no problem with Shatta Wale,” after being persuaded by the presenter, Nana Ampofo, to explain the reason she hasn’t seen her son in years because they all reside in Accra.
