As we all know the new word on Ghanaian social media is Kumerica.

The word Kumerica is a combination of two words, Kumasi and America and has in recent times been used by Ghanaian social media users to troll Ghanaians hailing from Kumasi.

A bunch of young boys in the Ashanti Regional capital have been spotted in a series of videos mimicking the lifestyle of American celebrities.

It is as a result of these hilarious videos that the word Kumerica has come to stay. Indeed, the movement is now becoming bigger by the day and one requires a passport to be part of the Kumerica Kingdom.

In a recent development, Shatta Wale has dropped a song in support of viral Kumasi boys who coined the term Kumerica.

The Ayoo hitmaker took a little break from dancehall to record a rap song titled Kumerica and it is going viral.
