Its left with barely 2 days to the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. The various political parties are doing everything possible in the last few days to secure the votes of electorates.
However, more important than political power, is peace and the continued existence of the country. A lot of celebrities have therefore embarked on various peace campaigns to spread the peace message.
The latest celebrity to add his voice to the peace message is Dancehall sensation, Shatta Wale.
In multiple peace messages shared on social media, Shatta Wale cautioned the youth to be vigilant and eschew from practising violence influenced by their affiliation to a particular political party.
He wrote:
“Both @NAkufoAddo and @JDMahama are good friends, why should you allow yourself to be influenced to create confusion in the country due to elections? Think twice ghetto youth. The future is in your hands, use your THUMB, not the ARMS, be wise and vote in peace. #SM4Peace”
