Sarkodie Warns Shatta Wale After Not Being Able To Afford Shatta Wale On His Show

As we all know, Ghana and Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie organized his annual Rapperholic concert just two days ago.

Although a lot of Ghanaians bashed him for selling the concert’s ticket at high prices, the concert lived up to expectation as it saw top Ghanaian artistes on the bill.

However, one artiste that was missing at the show was Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale. Considering the fact that, the Dancehall King had graced previous editions of the famed Rapperholic concert, a lot of people were surprisd he didn’t turn up.

However, Sarkodie has given a clue on why the Dancehall King was missing at the show.

Just after the concert, Shatta Wale put up a congratulatory post on Twitter for Sarkodie, and jokingly asking whether he was missed by the rapper.

Sarkodie then came up to reveal that Shatta Wale was contacted to see whether he could come to perform at the Rapperholic concert but his reply was unbelievable.

According to Sark, Shatta asked to be paid $250,000 which is over GHc 1 million, in fact, GHc 1,467,215 when the current cedi: dollar rate is used.

At this point, the popular rapper issued a slight warning with the words, “We shall see”, as his team appears to have clearly been unable to afford the amount for Shatta Wale.
