Diamond Platnumz the boss of east Africa’s Record label WCB Wasafi, has been keeping his love life private, but word has it that he is dating Zuchu.
On Christmas Day, Diamond and his multi-talented signee Zuchu went on a date, and word spread like wildfire that the two were dating.
Diamond’s closest friend Juma Lokole has confirmed that the Tanzanian crooner and Zuchu are dating.
Speaking in an interview with Wasafi Fm, Lokole said:
“Ni wapenzi takriban mwezi mmoja sasa. Lakini kuhusu swala la ndoa sasa hivi bado, yaani hakuna ndoa. Ni wapenzi na penzi limekolea (They have been dating for the first one month but about marriage, I’m not sure if they are going to get married. They are deeply in love).”

He also noted that Zuchu started when Diamond was single
“Zuchu hajamnyang’anya mtu bwana. Mara ya mwisho Diamond alikuwa na msanii Tanasha Donna),” he added.
Lokole, a controversial Tanzanian media personality, also shared an audio conversation between him and Esma, Diamond’s sister.
He tried to get Esma’s comment on Diamond and Zuchu’s relationship but she didn’t know if they were dating.
“Najua kwamba Diamond ni boss wa Zuchu. Hayo mambo mengine siyajui (All I know is that Diamond is Zuchu’s boss. About them dating I don’t know),” Esma said.
In an interview with a local Tanzanian TV, Kopa Zuchu’s mum denied that the two were dating where she clearly stated the two were like siblings.
“Diamond ananiona kama mama yake tangu zamani hata kabla Zuchu aende Wasafi (I’m like a mom to Diamond and I knew him even Zuchu joined his record label Wasafi),” she said.
