House of Hope Church Pastor Godfrey Migwi has warned Bahati and rapper Khaligraph Jones against wearing priestly attire in their music videos for the purposes of entertainment.
According to the man of God who accused the singers of being after money and fame, he broke the silence stating it is wrong to wear cleric attire just for fun as it depicts mockery to God.
“AM warning you misguided entertainers, you are attracting curses upon your life and your generations to come, I know you’re after fame and money but you’re completely lost, mark my words, you better repent and break the curses,” he said in part.
He added that even in the church, not all the clergies wear such priestly gowns. This is because their is protocol that is observed before that can happen.
“Using of clergy’s clothing for entertainment, more so for secular songs and for personal gain, is totally wrong, and it’s time for change. For your information this is the highest level of insult as far body of Christ is concerned,” he said.
Pastor Migwi went on to call upon the artists saying they should repent lest they attract generational curses upon themselves.
“God is never mocked,” the pastor added.
Woe unto you and your generations to come after you Bahati and the one I heard he’s called kaligraph (sic) Jones, wearing Bishops gowns is wrong. Let me advice you before you regret take those priest head gears and gowns to the nearest Bishop and repent,” Pastor Migwi wrote on Facebook.
He made references to while quoting several Bible verses on the downfall of Biblical characters such as Kings who were cursed for transgressing God.
