In the heat of harsh criticisms being levelled against homosexuality in Ghana, a number of celebrities have decided to throw their support behind the LGBT community.
Just recently Ghanaian songstress, Sister Derby declared her support for homosexuals in Ghana and lambasted Ghanaians for criticizing them.
In a recent development, Ghanaian Hip Hop star, Pappy Kojo has also added more fire to the current debate on homosexuality in the country.
In an interview with Giovanni on TV3, the musician, when asked if he was dating “a certain Nelson”, replied in shock that he was gay. Pappy Kojo’s response sparked laughter among the audience.
The host, Giovanni, seemed shocked as he quizzed the Ghanaian hip hop artiste about his preferences. In response, Pappy Kojo responded that guys like actor John Dumelo are his preference.
“Yes, I’m a homosexual man. Why do you hate gay men?,” he asked Giovani.
