The history of Nigerian movies dates back to as early as the late 19th century and into the colonial era in the early 20th century.
In the 19th century, there was the use of peephole viewing of motion picture devices. These were soon replaced in the early 20th century with improved motion picture exhibition devices.
Now, the method of film production has improved greatly. You can even see it for yourself when you go to see Nigerian movies at the cinemas. But how many of these movies from the 90s do you actually remember?
