COVID-19 may not be such a bad thing after all. Because for some people, the quarantine period is a good chance to channel all the energy into something good.
As a GOT fan, you should be excited because as you read this, George R.R. Martin, the writer of Game of Thrones is somewhere secluded up in the mountains writing the next GOT book.
“The Winds of Winter” is the title of the fantasy novel he hopes to finish by 2021.
On Wednesday, June 24, the author of the series tweeted saying:
“I have to confess, after half a year of pandemic, I am showing signs of cabin fever. If nothing else, the enforced isolation has helped me write. I am spending long hours every day on THE WINDS OF WINTER, and making steady progress.”

As CNN reports, the series concluded about a year ago. However, the fans made a petition urging HBO to re-make the final season following their disappointment of its conclusion.
Following his tweet, some of the fans went ahead to express their disinterest saying he has taken too long.
