Young and sensational Ghanaian 8-year-old poetic prodigy, Nakeeyat has indicated that she is not paid by stakeholders after performing at their shows.
Speaking during an interview with DJ Advicer on the Ayekoo After-Drive show on Happy98.9FM, Nakeeyat explained that people see her as a child hence the reason they refuse to pay her.
“They just think I’m a little kid but I wish they will pay me for my services because I train and rehearse for hours before I do any work”. Nakeeyat revealed.
Being quizzed about whether she had ever asked to be paid after her performances, she replied negatively and indicated that they have to give it to her themselves without her having to ask for it.
” I can’t ask them to pay me, they have to do it themselves. By all means, if I get the payment, I will take it but if I don’t get it, I’ll take the situation as it is”. She stated.
