The 21st Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMAs) just came off a couple of days ago. One of the most competitive categories was the ‘Rapper of the year’ award.
The category saw Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Medikal, Strongman, Teephlow, E.L and Eno Barony all being nominated. At the end it was Ground up artiste, Kwesi Arthur who emerged as winner of the award.
Prior to Kwesi Arthur, Medikal was the holder of the award. After being dethroned, Medikal has given fellow rapper Kwesi Arthur a pat on the back for emerging as the ‘Rapper Of The Year’ at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
In a reply to a fan on Twitter, Medikal said he is extremely happy for Kwesi Arthur for beating him to it since a win for him is equally a win for everybody.
