Veteran Ghanaian actor who is now a man of God, Majid Michel has made a hilarious and shocking revelation of how he and Jackie Appiah once walked from Osu to Dzorwulu during their broke days.
Speaking as one of the guests on UTV’s United Showbiz Show, hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, Majid Michel was speaking about some of the challenges they faced as actors and the extent to which they had to make some sacrifices to be able to survive.
” We’ve suffered before and it’s not a joke..Jackie was so thin that she was the same size as my arm….during our hustling days, we were done shooting a movie at OSU but we didn’t have money to go back home so we walked all the way from Osu to Dzorwulu..by the time we got to our destination, we were really drained of energy”. Majid narrated.
Majid also in the course of the interview admonished the government to invest more in the entertainment industry to help the industry grow.
Jackie Appiah also called for unity in the industry advised the youth not to rush in making it in life since it was not that easy.
