Machakos Man In Court For Stealing Female Employer’s Under Garments

A man in Machakos County is facing theft charges before court for allegedly stealing his female employer’s under garments.

According to news reports, Boniface Mwania [leaded guilty to stealing six panties that belong to his boss, Rose Mueni.

The suspect reportedly committed the offence on different dates at Mueni’s home in Kwakitema village in Yatta Sub-County.

Mwania was arraigned in court alongside his elderly accomplice, Nicholas Nguli who is said to have been his buyer.

However, Nguli denied any wrongdoing and was released on bail ahead of the September 15 hearing.

The complainant told the court that her undies had been vanishing one by one each time she left them in her bathroom.

The cops recovered Mueni’s under garments from Nguli’s house among many more feminine garments.

The accused also allegedly stole a t-shirt and a male boxer belonging to Mueni’s husband.

He is said to have sold each piece at Ksh100.

In a similar incident that took place in Kakamega back in 2019, one Mukoshi Chipukosia narrowly escaped death after he was found in possession of 100 stolen female undies.

He was reported to have been wearing some of them each time he went to a river to take a bath.

Before he was caught, he was on another mission to steal panties when the neighbour’s dogs barked alerting the owners.

“A woman in my neighborhood laments every day that her underwear gets stolen. When women bathe and leave their panties in the bathroom, he steals them,” said one of the residents.
