Ghanaians have always wondered when the nation would ever have a female President.
After several years of independence, Ghana has never had a female president.
As a matter of fact, the first time a female was even nominated as a running mate was just recently when John Mahama chose Prof, Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang as his vice presidential candidate.
From the foregoing, it is therefore very evident that to be a female president of Ghana is a farfetched dream.
