Young Ghanaian teacher Abena Serwaah Mankosa warmed the hearts of many Ghanaians after being spotted in a viral photo feeding her pupils with her own salary.
It is however surprising to note that magnanimous act that has warmed the hearts of many has been deemed as a misconduct by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
It was later reported that the Ghana Education Service(GES) had called the teacher for questioning over her ‘unacceptable behaviour’.
In a recent interview, Abena Serwaa Mankosa has provided detailed insights into the ordeal personnel from the GES took her through for trying to be kind.
She indicated that she was required to provide documents authorizing her to feed the pupils.
She also added that the GES accused her of using her students to seek help from investors and philanthropists which is against the law.
