Eugene Asira, a German-based Kenyan musician, is making waves online today for his performance on The Voice Germany.

He sang a rendition of H_art the Band’s “Uliza Kiatu” on stage earning a standing ovation from the German judges.

“The Voice” Germany is part of “The Voice” Franchise and based on the original “The Voice” Holland. The show is currently in its 10th season.

Showing their support for him, H_art The Band tweeted:

“Uliza Kiatu” was released in 2014 and is considered the song that catapulted the band to fame. H_art the band performed the song at the Sauti za Busara festival in Zanzibar in 2018.
