The Ayawaso West Wuoguon constituency in the Greater Accra region has been invaded by fellow celebrities who are campaigning vigorously against their counterpart John Dumelo.
John Dumelo, who is first known as a celebrity actor has switched from appearing on the screens to politics where he is seeking to lead his constituency in the next parliament as MP.
He is facing a stiff fight from the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area Lydia Alhassan thus some celebrities have invaded the constituency to drive home the message of renewing the mandate of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
Per reports, these celebrities: Kalybos, Prince David Osei are campaigning against John Dumelo; someone they used to work in the same industry with. These celebrities are moving from one community to the other clad in party paraphernalia and shouting “4More4Nana’ ‘4More4Lydia.
Well, many have expressed surprise at the situation especially when they believe John Dumelo is an actor and celebrity thus it shouldn’t take these same people to campaign against him in the same constituency.
Bridget Otoo, who is a broadcaster and sympathizer of the NDC is insinuating that these celebrities together with other faceless ones are ganging against John Dumelo and are bent on throwing his political fortunes out the window.
