Since yesterday, Ghana and Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie has been trending following the release of his latest song, ‘Happy Day’ which features Kuami Eugene.
In the controversial song, Sarkodie endorsed the incumbent Ghanaian President, Akufo Addo. In the song, Sarkodie endorsed the NPP and Akufo Addo as he urged Akufo-Addo to continue to govern saying ‘Nana Toaso’ which literally translates as ‘continue, Nana.’
The song has since evoked massive reactions from Ghanaians including former President John Mahama.
Speaking in an interview, he told the host of Morning Starr-Francis Abban that his attitude towards these musicians won’t change after they endorsed his opponent.
