Rising Ghanaian artist, Gyakyie has revealed what inspired her most popular song, “Forever.”
The song quickly pushed the artist to popularity, as it was streamed by a huge number of music lovers across several platforms.
She became the first African woman to work with Spotify with the song. The song also topped a number of domestic and international charts.
Fast forward to when she released a remix of the song with Nigerian Omah Lay, and she was able to garner a huge fanbase in that nation as well.
Gyakie stated in an interview with Pulse Ghana that she wrote “Forever” after picturing her future love life.
Every line in the song, she claimed, was how she saw her future self falling in love.
