Gyakie, a Ghanaian music star, has announced that she and stunning rapper Yaw Tog would have recorded a single if it hadn’t been for school matters.
Gyakie and Yaw Tog are both in training, despite their meteoric rise in recent months. Gyakie is a student of Business Administration at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi (KNUST).
Yaw Tog is still in the high school system. He attends Opoku Ware Senior High School in Kumasi. He aspires to continue his studies at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Given their hits in the first quarter of this year, the two young artists are probably the best new things in their respective fields right now.
Aside from the remix with Omah Lay, Gyakie’s hit single “Forever” is always winning. Yaw Tog has collaborated with British rapper Stormzy on a version of his hit song “Sore.”
Gyakie’s official fan page tweeted that Ghanaians should keep an eye out for a song with Yaw Tog, which will be delayed because they are both back to school after a long break after appearing on UTV Ghana’s United Showbiz for the first time.
