Here Are The 3 Ghanaians Who Won Big At The 2020 International Reggae And World Music Awards

The International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) was held on 21st March, 2020 and three out of four Ghanaians won big.

The awards ceremony which took place in Kingston, Jamaica saw four Ghanaians Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Epixode and DJ Switch get nominated in enviable categories.

Here are your winners.

1. DJ Switch

Dj Switch beat entertainers like Mesa Khonesa, Ngozi Wright, Wayne J and Vybz T to win the ‘Best Young Entertainer’ award.

2. Fancy Gadam

The Tamale-based musician was nominated in the tough ‘Best Afrobeat Entertainer’ category alongside Afro B, Burna Boy, Davido, Diamond Platinum and Innoss B. This Fancy Gadam’s second IRAWMA award after he won ‘Most Promising Entertainer’ last year.

3. Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy won the ‘Best African Reggae/Dancehall Entertainer.’ This becomes his second IRAWMA win. “Still winning,” the excited Dancehall artiste confirmed it on Twitter.
