Comedian Eric Omondi landed in Tanzania in style, talk of a presidential jet and a warm welcome ahead of his 2-day concert in the country.
Nevertheless, this situation did not deter the “President of Comedy” from being spoiled to VIP treatment in the neighboring country.
According to Kenyans.co.ke, Omondi was picked up from Kenya by a presidential jet: Air Tanzania on Thursday, August 27.
“Yes, public planes from Kenya were banned. However, the Tanzanian government chartered a plane for me,” the comedian stated.
It should be noted that this kind of jet is usually delegated for state officials and dignitaries.
Narrating his experience in Tanzania, Omondi said:
“It was one of the best concerts I have ever had. The reception and the fans were amazing too. I represented Kenya to my level best. Two days of epic bliss, one man, one stage and one hour per day.”
The award-winning artist’s skill in his career has been evolving with trends since his days on Chuchill Show.
He has gradually grown and landed numerous marketing gigs which have granted him sufficient publicity.
