Multiple award winning Nigerian Singer, Davido has disclosed in a recent interview on Black Box hosted by Ebuka that he was really hurt for not being included on Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’ Album.
The ‘If’ hitmaker went ahead to indicate that it was a deliberate action by the Nigerian music industry to leave him out.
Davido said he wondered about why all top artistes in Nigeria were featured on it leaving him out.
“Honestly, to tell you the truth, it was something that they planned to nap on me on the album. Do you know the funny thing? I have producers that worked on the album… they’re my friends but they didn’t tell me they were working on the album”, said.
When asked if he felt bad, Davido responded: “Of course I left bad, I won’t lie to you. I was hurt. The whole industry on one album…but I know that it was planned. Like I said they keep planning against me but it won’t work… I know that they planned that thing for me but shout outs to Beyonce. I wish her success. It was a beautiful album”
