It Is Not Wrong For Christians To Do Secular Music – Cwesi Oteng

In Ghana and most parts of Africa, Gospel musicians are expected to be all holy with no trace of immorality or anything considered unrighteous.

Gospel artistes are therefore not expected to partake in activities. One of such activities is the singing of secular songs.

However, Ghanaian urban gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has in a recent interview rubbished the notion that singing of secular music puts one’s Christianity to question.

Cwesi Oteng went ahead to reveal how he is mentoring a member of his church who wants to go into Dancehall music. He added that Christians must be allowed to do secular music because there is nothing wrong with it.
