Conjestina’s Problems Are Deeper Than Your Tattoos- Alai To Octopizzo

Blogger Robert Alai has gone after Octopizzo for blaming the woes of former boxing champion Conjestina Achieng on Raila Odinga.

According to Alai, the rapper must not point fingers at anyone other than maybe Conje’s family because her problems are way deeper than Octopizzo’s tattoos.

Conjestina who has been in and out of rehabilitation facilities is now living in poverty despite her popularity and fame.

Alai’s attack came as a response to Octopizzo’s Instagram post where he insinuated that not enough was being done to aid the former boxer.

As such, the Number Nane hitmaker publicly made a wish that God blesses him in a way that he will be able to help Conjestina.

In response, Alai wrote:

“RAILA SHOULD TAKE HER TO A MENTAL INSTITUTION?
RAILA TASKED US TO ASSIST CONJE IN 2012. MAMA IDA LED THE INITIATIVE. NONINI, SUZANNA OWIYO, ME AND SITAWA WAFULA ASSISTED. WHERE WERE YOU THEN? CONJE’S PROBLEMS CAN’T BE SOLVED IN A PUFF. THEY ARE DEEPER THAN YOUR TATTOOS. THEY CAN’T BE SOLVED WITH THE SHALLOWNESS YOU ARE SHOWING HERE,’ HE WROTE IN PART.

He added:

“…CONJE’S PROBLEMS STARTS WITH HER FAMILY. SHE CAN’T STAND UP BECAUSE SHE HAS AN EXPLOITATIVE FAMILY. EVERY INITIATIVE WILL FAIL. I CAN TELL YOU THAT WE EVEN PAID AND FURNISHED A HOUSE FOR 3 YEARS. WHEN WE REFUSED TO GIVE THE FAMILY MONEY, THEY REMOVED HER FROM THE HOUSE.”

It all started when sports journalist Carol Radull visited Conjestina at her rural home in Yala.

She shared photos of herself alongside the boxer heroine explaining how she was struggling to survive.

As reported by Radull, Conjestina feels a lack of recognition despite putting Kenya on the map.

“She has lost a lot of weight but physically she is still strong. She is however very angry at what she feels is a system that abandoned her at her time of need. She repeatedly said how she was on top of the world, represented Kenya but felt a lack of recognition,” she wrote in part.

Radull’s report sparked reactions among netizens while also garnering sufficient shares.
