Even without admitting that Kidi and Cina Soul make quite a cute couple, Netizens and Ghanaians at large have been bombarded with ‘booed up’ photos of both singers.
“The rumours started because of the ‘Sugar’ movie. I played lead with Kidi. Since that movie came out, that’s when everything started, yeah.”
Speaking on Power FM, Cina Soul revealed that she’s known Kidi since her days in university. Kidi has since played an instrumental role in her music career (No pun intended).
That single purpose has helped them draw closer to each other so much that people think they are an item.
“It’s not true that Kidi is my boyfriend. It’s because of our connection. We went to Legon together,” she said.
“Before I went to the Vodafone Icon competition, I was very shy. I had not even gone on stage to sing before.” She continued.
The highlight of her acknowledgement of the dating rumours was when she referred to Kidi as her coach.
“Kidi was my friend. We were all singing in Legon, so he coached me for some time.”
