Cardi B Angrily Blasts Ghanaian Authorities Following Akuapem Poloo’s Jail Sentence

Cardi B, an American rapper, has spoken out in response to the incarceration of her friend, Ghanaian actress and social media star Akuapem Poloo.

The actor was sentenced to 90 days in prison for sharing nude images of himself on social media in front of his son. Many social media users and celebrities have characterized the sentence as cruel.

Cardi B, who encountered the notorious social media figure during her visit to Ghana, has also spoken out about the penalty meted out to her ex.

Cardi B characterized the prison sentence as harsh for a first-time criminal whose only offence was sharing nude videos, which is normal in America.

The “Bodak Yellow” singer was swift to point out that taking such photos and publishing them is not her style.

“I’ve seen a lot of Americans do photoshoots like that,” she wrote. Even though it is not my style, I believe she was aiming for a natural look rather than a sexual one.I believe that incarceration is overly harsh. Maybe a kind of social media probation or community service.”
