Kenyan actor Robert Agengo has opened up on his life, for the first time, explaining why he is not in a relationship.
Agengo, who plays ‘Fella’ on Zora and was the casting director for Netflix film ‘The boy who harnessed the wind, says he prefers to be alone or with his kids.
“I don’t have a girlfriend because I don’t want pressure” he said, adding that “I don’t believe in marriage. I don’t want to feel like I am responsible for anyone’s happiness.”
The actor said he is trying hard to teach his daughter to be independent so that when she eventually gets married, “it will not be because she will be taken care of, but because she loves the man.”
“Money is not the basis of a relationship. The point of marriage is partnership.”
Agengo, who was spoke during an interview with Buzz Central, revealed that he has sired six children with five different women.
“I have six children with five baby mamas. The first one I dated has two kids, my first and second-born children. The other four have one child each. My third and fourth born were born in the same year,” he said.
“Responsibility is for two. I don’t have to have money to have a relationship with my children. I can lack money, but that is not sin or cause for punishment.”
The actor said that his wish for his children would be that they live their truth and be the best versions of themselves.
