Kenyan musician Vivian has emotionally narrated her breakup with her husband Sam West.
Speaking in an interview with Masawe Japanni, Vivian said the circumstances in which the relationship ended were very tough.
The singer shared that at some point they stopped working as a couple and they couldn’t be what each other needed.
“I would say he left though our relationship had a lot of challenges and we did not have proper guidance. The biggest challenge is expecting someone to be something they are not. At some point I stopped being his ideal woman.”
At some point, she became depressed and even contemplated taking her own life since she felt she had lost so much after the separation.
” There was so much loss if I knew this would happen, I wouldn’t have pursued marriage. I would have done something else.”
Her marriage of six years came to an end and it affected her so much because when they were married he had asked her to focus on her music while he focused on business.
The mother of one is on a healing journey and her reason for sharing is to encourage other people who might be going through the same thing.
The couple have been together for six years after Sam West proposed to the singer on live TV.
