Keroche heiress Tecra Muigai oved alcohol and cocaine, this is according to Omar Lali.
In the inquest into Tecra’s murder at the Milimani Law Courts, Lali said his former lover loved alcohol and cocaine so much.
He noted one day back in 1019, he wanted to know why the deceased lady loved the hard drug, cocaine, that much after she had confessed to him, but she allegedly simply said: “because naipenda.”
According to Lali as captured by Friday’s Star Newspaper, the day Tecra fell and later died she had started drinking as early as 2 pm, adding that she was drinking a cocktail
For starters, a cocktail is an alcoholic mixed drink. Most commonly, cocktails are either a combination of spirits or one or more spirits mixed with other ingredients such as tonic water, fruit juice, flavoured syrup, or cream.
Lali told senior Principal Magistrate Zainab Abdul that her former lover was not just a person who loved drinking, but was a heavy drinker.
Tecra allegedly fell down the stairs of a Lamu hotel and later died in the hospital in 2020. An inquest into the death is ongoing.
