Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in the entertainment circles as Shatta Wale is set to make an appearance in a movie written by American singer, Beyoncé.
This will be the second time Shatta Wale has teamed up with the Queen herself on a project following their collaboration on “Already” also featuring Major Lazer.
The movie, “Black is King” inspired by last year’s “Lion King: The Gift,” will be premiered on Disney+ on July 31.
Other stars to make appearances in this movie include Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Jay Z, Blue Ivy Carter and Jessica Reyez.
The African counterparts include Wizkid, Shatta Wale, Mr Eazi, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Busiswa and Salatiel.
