‘Polygamy Is Not For Boys’ – Senator Khalwale Lectures Samidoh

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has lashed out at Kikuyu musician Samidoh for failing to control his two wives.

Khalwale said polygamy is not for everyone, urging the Kikuyu musician to control his two wives.

“I’m appealing to Kenyans on social media (infuriated as you are) to give Senator Karen Nyamu a break.

“Here is a young woman who loves her man but unfortunately the guy has no idea how to manage his wives. He ought to apologise for his ineptitude on matters family. He is to blame.

“Polygamy is not for boys!” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Nominated senator Karen Nyamu said she has broken up forever with Mugithi star Samidoh alias Samuel Muchoki.

In an Instagram story, Nyamu who had earlier engaged in a dramatic altercation with Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu stated that she had made a ‘conscious’ decision to end things with Samidoh.

Nyamu was quick to point out that her decision to publicly announce the break was fueled by the manner in which the drama was witnessed.

“Great and powerful women will attest that many times our weakest link is the men we get involved with. I am stopping the pattern. I have made a conscious decision to end for good my involvement with the father of my babies and now ex-Samidoh Muchoki.

“I know I could have called him and ended it quietly but I decided to make this as public as the drama and controversy have been. This had become a concern, especially with the position I hold as a member of the 4th senate,” she stated.

At the same time, the first-time senator also affirmed that she was not embarrassed by what happened in Dubai.

Nyamu stated that she has no regrets whatsoever about the drama that unfolded. She however promised never to involve herself in such drama ever again.

“You know guys I have no regrets from last night. I don’t wish I did things any differently. I, however, promise you that it is the last time your girl will ever be involved in a situation like that ever again.

“I am very fortunate to be bestowed upon me the honour and responsibility of leadership in the country. To be a people’s representative in parliament is an opportunity I treasure and take very seriously,” she added.

Contrary to her current sentiments, Nyamu had vowed not to dump her baby daddy since they had young children to raise.

She also claimed that she was frustrated over Samidoh’s reaction since they had spent the night together before his performance.

“Unaamka na mtu alafu jioni drama. Mniombee juu staki drama 2023. Wenye wanasema nilichoma ni juu ya pombe. I was having fun on stage but next year nitaacha, lakini siachi Samidoh, kitu nitaacha ni pombe na drama. Lazima tulee watoto,”(I was drunk last night but come 2023, I’ll stop drinking and causing drama but I can’t dump Samidoh, we have kids to raise),” Nyamu stated.
