Mrs Ngatia, the first wife of former Tahidi High actor Omosh, has pleaded with Kenyans to build her a house.

Speaking to Hiram Maina in a joint interview with her hubby, Miss Ngatia, who also featured on the TV series, said she lives in a bedsitter with their three children.

According to Ngatia, real name Judy Wachuka, she had gone through a lot since 2020 when the pandemic struck.

“Life has been challenging for us since the Covid-19 pandemic struck. But, when I was at Tahidi High, at least I could fend for my children.

I have suffered with my children. They have been chased away from school over fees numerous times,” she said.

Ngatia said she had been thrown out of four houses in the past two years as landlords do not believe she lacks rent since they famously appeared on the TV show.

“My landlords used to see us on TV and would not believe that we could not pay rent. One time, I used to stay in Umoja but was thrown out by the landlord saying my husband has a big name,” she said.

Ngatia divulged that she avoids walking along specific routes since she owes numerous people money.

“Sometimes I feel like wearing a buibui so people cannot recognise me,” she said.

Ngatia further divulged that she currently owes her landlord two months’ rent arrears amounting to KSh 10,000.
