On Saturday, May 2, the Ghanaian movie industry was hit by a great blow when popular actor, Bernard Nyarko passed on.
The news which was initially treated as a hoaxed came as a shock to his fans when it was confirmed by sources closed to the fallen actor.
Isaac Darko, Bishop’s elder brother, in an interview with SVTV narrated how his brother died.
According to Isaac, his brother had been ill and been moved in and out of hospitals for some time. Though his brother’s demise came as a shock to the family, he told SVTV his brother died peacefully.
This comes after reports from some individuals claiming they have reasons to believe that the actor may have died unnaturally.
Exactly a month ago, Bishop Bernard Nyarko was reported to have said he has quit acting and nothing will make him rescind the decision.
He became a full-time pastor to spread the word of God and win souls for his Maker. According to reports, the actor ditched acting for the gospel after he was hit with an unknown illness.
Bishop Nyarko, in a viral video, was heard telling his congregation that he has decided to follow the steps of actor Majid Michelle, stressing that the movie industry is full of evil.
