For reasons yet to be known, a significant number of employees of Multimedia Group –the mother company of Adom FM/TV, Hitz FM, Joy FM among other notable media houses– have been leaving the company this year.
However, there have been some loyal employees who have been with the company since its inception and one of them is no other than Doreen Andoh.
Her milestone coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary as she joined the company from the very beginning.
Doreen Andoh who had no training or whatsoever began reading the news on Joy FM after she was put on the spot. Today, she can boast of almost three decades of broadcasting experience.
Nicknamed “Queen of the Airwaves,” Doreen attributes her success to humility and being ready to learn. She also admonishes young men and women going into broadcasting to possess these qualities.
