In an interview with blogs during the launch of her charity project in Buru Buru, Sonnie said life has not been easy since her break-up with Mulamwah.
The actress noted that raising a baby alone as a single mother is quite demanding.
“I wouldn’t lie that it is easy, it has been tough. It has not been easy because I have to play both the role of a mother and a father. Even when life is tough I must go out there and look for my baby,” she said.
The mother of one said she hasn’t given up on love despite her failed relationship with Mulamwah.
“I have not given up on love because it feels good to be loved,” she added.
In a previous Q&A session with her fans on Instagram, sharing more about her current love life.
“How long did it take to heal after breaking up with your baby daddy? Mine is becoming worse everywhere,”
a fan asked. Responding to the fan, Sonie said:
“Don’t worry you don’t heal especially if a baby is involved, but with time things loosen up…hold on there mama.”
Asked if she is planning on dating soon and having more kids, Sonie said:
Dating not at the moment maybe in future. Kids hapo ni kama nilifunga chapter (Not having more kids).”
