Singer-turned-politician Kevin Bahati has hosted a lavish dinner to launch his manifestos on Friday, April 1.
Going on social media, Bahati shared a series of photos depicting the event was expensive and was attended by celebrity friends.
It was evident that the Mathare Member of Parliament (MP) hopeful was trying to raise money for his recently-launched political campaigns.
According to a source, each person who attended the white-themed dinner event paid Ksh 100,000 as a way of showing support to the new politician.

were some of the guests who graced Bahati’s manifesto launch event. Bahati expressed gratitude to all his friends who showed support by attending the event.
“You Know they are truly your friends when you need them and not when they need you Thank you for believing in the vision,” he wrote.
